Course Description

  • Dynamic HTML (DHTML):
    • Structure with XHTML 1.1.
    • Style with Cascading Style Sheets 2 (CSS 2).
    • Function with:
      • JavaScript 1.5.
      • Object Model (OM), contains the Document Object Model 2 (DOM 2).
    • Content:
      • Text: size, font, etc.
      • Images, different format:
        • Low-level (bitmaps): JPEG, p-JPEG, GIF, PNG, WBMP.
        • High-level (vectors): SVG.
      • Audio, different formats:
        • Low-level: file based and streamed.
        • High-level: MIDI.
      • Video, different formats:
        • Low-level: file based and streamed.
        • High-level: dynamic SVG.
      • Integration of text, images, audio och video width Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL 2.0).
  • WML 2.0 for mobile devices/clients:
    • Structure with XHTML Basic 1.0.
    • Style with CSS Mobile Profile 1.0.
  • Content syndication:
    • Really Simple Syndication (RSS 0.91 och 0.92).
    • RDF Site Summary (RSS 1.0).

Language: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript with DOM. This course follows the standards specified by W3C.
